  • Went to see some fireworks with my wife and some of her friends from college.  The show was great, but seemed short (20 minutes.) We got stuck in traffic afterwards, sitting in the parking lot for 55 minutes without moving.

Interesting dream last night, I woke my wife up a few times.  I guess I should preface this dream by telling you that I watched "Land of the Dead" this past weekend.

A group of people (I think some of my college buddies were there too) were with me on one side of an electric fence, and there were a couple of people on the other side trying to get in where we were.  We turned off the power for a few moments, but (of course) the power wouldn't come back on after they crossed.  That was about the time the zombies started showing up.  We were quickly overwhelmed despite the fact that there were many of us with weapons.

I don't remember being attacked personally, but I remember finding myself lying on the ground with many dead people and zombies.  I suppose the zombies were either killed or they left, thinking we were all dead.  Then the dream panned out and I saw nothing but bodies lying on the ground everywhere.  All of a sudden some of the people, who were scattered randomly in the carnage, slowly sat up in unison.  I somehow knew that I was one of the ones that was sitting up, but I couldn't tell if we were just regaining consciousness or if we had become zombies.

  • hmm...this reminds me of a dream i had that took place in a battlefield lined with gravestones and the two sides just blasted away at each other. the part about how the power wouldn't come back on sounds familiar - i mean the concept, of how bad guys are coming towards you and you can't control something that you normally could in order to stop them. usually it's either i can't see clearly, i can't pick something up, or i'm being dragged down by gravity or whatnot while running. you couldn't tell if you had become zombies? have you ever been an animal in your dreams before? ^^ i'm just curious because last night was the first time i was a non-human (i was a lion), and it was interesting.

[just came across your site through the dream writers blogring]

  • Hey... I don't know how you know about me but I checked your subcriptions and saw godcoming7 so I thought you got my xanga from his.

Thanks for the advice. I will never stop giving advices though a part of me wants to say out loud "I told you so" I mean....WHY do people DO things the wrong way and then regret later? WHY am I being blessed with the capability to think first before acting so that I won't blunder when others are not? Sometimes being able to care is such a very burdensome gift. It actually makes your burdens more heavy than light. I've done a lot of caring but so far, all I have ever done is cry at night and feel sad. Most people ignore the advices given to them so why in the world would they ask and why in the world are we giving out advices?

In nursing, we were taught to be patient but to me, in my own point of view, being patient doesn't mean I will just tolerate everything, even if it means doing bad. Like murder or something. I know it happens but it doesn't mean like I just have to stay silent and not do anything about it.

Thanks for the comment... I was surprised that you mentioned you have a wife.. really? wow. The way you write gives me the impression that we are more or less the same age but I guess I was wrong.... I also LOVE your background a lot. It reminds me of myself because it is similar to my preferences in backgrounds.. like trees, or panoramic views or landscapes.

    Take care and God bless

    *jam*
